An irreversible phenomenon

As a principle, new technological infrastructures place everyone, in very similar market conditions.

Without falling into a too optimistic frame of mind, yet, it is forced to recognize the deep change that the Internet phenomenon has introduced in the world. Today, as it was yesterday, taking the phenomenon of global communication as an example, it is already possible to assert that what is not present in the web, certainly does not exist. Or rather, it is not in conditions to be competitive. New technological infrastructures place everyone, in very similar market conditions.

As a matter of fact, it has already been warned that the immense traditional commercial events are weaken for the sake of web initiatives, whose audience increases exponentially every year.

The own experience of the Fundación de la Lengua Española, which bets on new technologies in order to promote "the Spanish way" all over the world, is one of the reasons for its existence, in this sense, reasonably adding convincing data, as regards to the use of didactic units that are offered across its web portal. The fortunes and misfortunes of the García Romeros, for example, serve as a learning method to 99 academies, with 7.825 pupils in total, in different seven countries, in addition to Spain: The United States, India, Brazil, Italy, Australia and Paraguay. The popular stories have been visited by over 8.000 users of 77 countries, in addition to more than 8.000 visits realized in YouTube. The recently created Labyrinth's game, count on almost 200 users. And among the offered videos, those dedicated to ham's cutting have received almost 3.500 visits in a very few weeks.

It is, indeed, an irreversible phenomenon.
