Reasons to create in Spanish

We all know Spanish is one of the world widest spoken languages, and one of the most daily studied. The reasons to learn Spanish are increasing and varied, answering to eagerness and personal needs, cultural affinity and work requirements, going from curiosity to the need of filling free time.

So many millions of speakers of the same language, are consumers of the final products generated around it: movies, books, video games, web pages, tv, newspapers, etc., and both, the creators and entities which deal with the promotion of Spanish, must therefore join efforts to produce works, quality articles, which should be able to reach all the present and future Spanish speakers, in order to cover their above mentioned needs.

The creation of digital contents in Spanish is also a powerful deposit of employment for a high number of professional profiles with future implications, and not only of those more closely related to new information and communication technologies, but also with humanities studies, since the projects which are going to be developed will be mostly multidisciplinary.

The challenge is set, and so, entities such as Fundación de la Lengua Española have to work as tractors and chanellers of all the initiatives which  constantly emerge on this field. In Castile and León, and with the support of the Regional Administration, work is being done on this scope, with the aim to create quality and efficiency employment, and in such a way, a leading and renewable industry, and consequently, adapting itself to modern times.
