An apothecary creates a library in her pharmacy so that they learn Spanish in Lebanon

The Spanish soldiers of the United Nations Interim Force for Lebanon and the "Miguel de Cervantes' base Spanish to about 4,000 students from 22 centers in Lebanon.

Three years ago, Lieutenant Alfonso Toledano taught Spanish to the people of Marjayoun (Lebanon) during their stay. When he returned home contacted the city council and ordered books for the Lebanese village, so that its residents did not lose what they had learned.


Georgina Neematala, owner of the Marjayoun pharmacy has exhibited on her shelves the works of Mario Vargas Llosa and Miguel de Cervantes. Currently, she has 1,000 books with which many people have been able to learn and practice Spanish.
