"ADVANCED SPANISH" PROGRAM
Once the Advanced level has been chosen with the Fundación para la Difusión de la Lengua y la Cultura Española, we already know that we will find the best possible course on Spanish language held in Valladolid, city par excellence, cradle of Castilian, the Spanish language, free of accents which could mask our learning and all that guaranteed by the highest level language teachers and classrooms 100% dedicated to the Spanish teaching. A course which will spend more time in the street, in close contact with genuine Spanish, and including visits to the University, lectures, etc ...
Valladolid is a Spanish city located in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula, the capital of the province of the same name, and also the capital of the the autonomous community of Castilla y Leon.  According to data provided by the 2008 census, it counts with a population of 318,461 inhabitants, thus being, the 13th largest city in Spain.   For its part, themetropolitan area of the city, comprising 23 municipalities with a population of 407,148 inhabitants (INE 2008), is 20th in Spain. 
The program is developed n facilities exclusively dedicated to Spanish lessons.
The students must consider that the selected centers possess a few rigorous conduct codes, as for clothing and behavior.
Spanish lessons: Language Academies in the city's downtown.
Our classrooms, academies, are located in the easy access city's downtown, and provided with the most advanced pedagogical and technological means in the sector of the language teaching.
A preliminary exam to test the students' level will be set in order to assign them to one of three different levels. Optional lessons on technical language normally used in the development of their different professional activities will also be provided. (see technical development modules)
At the end, a Language Level Diploma endorsed by the Universities of Castile and León, along with the Foundation's FLE diploma will be presented.
Students will be lodge in different ways:
- Flats shared with other students.
- College dormitories
- Families (immersion plan)
Students will keep a strict schedule, joining the class in the provided schedule, in order to begin their studies with all the necessary didactic material and with the support of computer tools, language labs, movies, etc ... all of this led by an excellent team of professional Spanish language teachers.
A wide and varied tour planning will make possible for the student to enjoy learning the language and culture not only in the classroom, but also during the development of multiple scheduled trips, some of them exclusive to the Fundación para la Difusión de la Lengua y la Cultura Española.
It is an international program where students mix up with young people from all over the world by creating a truly multicultural atmosphere.

A network of buses administered by Autobuses Urbanos de Valladolid SA (AUVASA), which has a fleet of 142 vehicles with an average age of 6.15 years, though only considering regular line vehicles, their average life is of 5.90 years.  
Since 1988 AUVASA started, along with three other local companies (Badalona, Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona) a pioneering project in Spain in order to study the feasibility of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as fuel for public transport in order to reduce pollutant emissions and noise.Nowadadys, the 73% (100 buses) of the total fleet run on LPG. 
It has 22 regular lines, 9 lines running to industrial areas, 5 Buho service lines, 7 morning lines and 13 special lines for different sport, fairs and cultural events.  The flat price of the run is 1.10 € for regular lines for the Owl Service and other special services. It has a payment system calledBono-Bus and special offers for young and retired people
The bus station in Valladolid is located in Puente Colgate Street, in the heart of the city's downtown within walking range of the railway station and the main traffic highway, the Paseo de Zorrilla.
Through the services offered by the different companies it is daily connected with several locations throughout the province and other provinces of Spain. International routes are also being done to countries in Europe, such as France, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Great Britain or Germany. 
Valladolid's International Airport (IATA: VLL, ICAO: LEVD) is located to 10 km from Valladolid, in the municipality of Villanubla, at 845.96 meters above sea level, was opened in 1938.
With 512,928 passengers of total traffi, 14,094 operations and 31,012 kilograms of cargo traffic in 2007 according to AENA, official sources,  it is the 28th Spanish airport according to its passenger volume. Its scant traffic is due to its relative proximity to Madrid (less than 2 hours by road) and its airport.
It has 15 regular destinations:
- 10 domestic flights: Alicante, Barcelona, Ibiza, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Málaga, Menorca, Palma de Mallorca, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Sevilla y Valencia.
- 4 internacionational flights: Bruselas, Düsseldorf, Londres y Milán.
Its runway is part of Villanubla's military airbase, opossite to the terminal, across the runway, the airfield is managerd by the Air Force.
Through Valladolid-Campo Grande Railway Station, ADIF, formerly run by RENFE (also known as Estación del Norte), Valladolid is connected to different locations in the province,Castilla y Leon and the rest of Spain, with regular trains to Madrid, Barcelona, Santander and Bilbao among others.
High Speed Train
The high-speed line linking Valladolid-Campo Grande's Railway station with Madrid in fifty-six minutes at 300 km per hour by means of using Talgo trains Class 102, dubbed as duck, started on December 22nd 2007. Since 26 January 2009, three Renfe Avant train services , known as shuttles which connect Madrid with Segovia and Valladolid, at well-below current prices by using traveller vouchers. The journey from Valladolid to Madrid takes about an hour.
Since the railroad track runs through the downtown, splitting it into two parts with a difficult communication barrier, it has been been proposed to turn the tracks into an underground route, running from the outskirts into the railway station.
Nevertheless, in summer 2005 , a final agreement was reached on the topic. A managing agency representing the different administrations was created. It exists an agreement to handle land transfer where the train repair workshops are still located and to negotiate its sale. The profits will fund the undergrounding.
The underground train in Valladolid will make a significant change in land use throughout the strip nowadays holding the railway track. Its disappearance will finally eliminate the dividing line which currently splits the city, leaving room for new public uses and residential areas.
The undergrounding project will not only clear a large area, but also will release a set of historical buildings which are particular examples of industrial building. The two jewels in the set are the Arco de ladrillo and Engines' warehouse. The dismantling of the Arco de ladrillo has been anticipated as well as its replacing upon works completion.
