Local Integration Center of Santa Marta Tormes (Salamanca) has developed for the second consecutive year urban camp named "Intercultural Summer School."

Twenty students of Castile and Leon, aged between 14 and 16 years old and with the best academic records, took part during the past three weeks in the second edition of International Village, a summer camp which houses the University of Washington and organized by the Ministry of Education with the cooperation of the Fundacion de la Lengua Española

The Fundacion de la Lengua Española's Local Integration Center organizes a summer camp for children 4-12 years of age in the Youth House

A total of 15 students, accompanied by the Vice-Rector for International Relations at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, visit the city of Valladolid during the International Festival of Street Theatre and the Valladolid Latino. This group of students is divided into 10 students from the School of Education, participating in internship program of the Ministry of Education of the Council of Castile and Leon and through the Fundacion de la Lengua Española conducted for 10 weeks in our Primary Schools of our Community. During this period the students support teachers in their curriculum development and the efficient development of language skills within the Bilingual Program of the Council of Castile and Leon.
