A group of representatives from the University of Orlando, sister city of Valladolid visits the town.

A total of 15 students, accompanied by the Vice-Rector for International Relations at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, visit the city of Valladolid during the International Festival of Street Theatre and the Valladolid Latino. This group of students is divided into 10 students from the School of Education, participating in internship program of the Ministry of Education of the Council of Castile and Leon and through the Fundacion de la Lengua Española conducted for 10 weeks in our Primary Schools of our Community. During this period the students support teachers in their curriculum development and the efficient development of language skills within the Bilingual Program of the Council of Castile and Leon.

The other five students are conducting an intensive course in Spanish at the University of Valladolid. This is the first such an activity of these characteristics with the University of Orlando is performed and confirms the importance attached to institutional relationship between the two cities forthe development of academic programs and other economic development activities.
