Local Integration Center Foundation of the Spanish language in Santa Marta has completed its Intercultural Summer School 2010

Local Integration Center of Santa Marta Tormes (Salamanca) has developed for the second consecutive year urban camp named "Intercultural Summer School."

.The initiative involving a total of 14 children in between 4 and 12 years old of different nationalities: Spain, Sahara, Morocco and Peru.
The activities were carried out the second half of July the 10th at 13 hours in the activity room of the Socio-Cultural building where the Local Integration Center has its headquarters. 
The topic chosen for this year was "Around the world in seven days" and per each day, participants have known children from a different culture through stories, games and workshops, and the last day all cultures shared a great party with the "Restaurant of the World."

The experience has been very positive both for children and their parents. For both, it has been an opportunity to know and appreciate the different cultures that were present in Santa Marta de Tormes, and has promoted cooperation, interculturalism and creativity of the children involved.
