Mario Vargas Llosa declines to be president of the Instituto Cervantes
As it was just reported by Soraya Saenz de Santamaria, the writer, Nobel Prize winner, Mario Vargas Llosa refuses to be president of the Instituto Cervantes.
Mario Vargas Llosa rejected today and for the second time, the offer to become president of the Instituto Cervantes, but leaving the door open to future collaborations as he has being doing now for a while.
The decision has been taken to the Government of Spain through a written letter which announced his resignation.
